Manufacturing process
1. Used materials
a. Wood frame. Dry kiln solid wood cured at 14 Degree Centigrade to eliminate possible warping.

wood, selected, 1st class -selected - we are paying aprox 20% higher plus later sending for drying for several days at 90-95 Degree Centigrade. We are not accepting wood with over 15% moisture, Typical local furniture manufacturer is using wood with 20-25% moisture - had some problem before buying other vendors sofas with wet frames. We measure moisture using Wagner Electronic Products MCC200 Series Meter
b. foam- sponge. Best quality available on the market, Used several layers depend of applications

Our cost is aprox 80-100% more than other local manufacturers. We are not saving on it, using several layers of it and all times best quality available.
c. Leather. All times using 1st class genuine double dye,
never split or second class domestic. We are
using aprox 20% more leather per set, because our designs is done for export,
not to compete on prices
with local vendors.

Labor, we are paying our people more than local factories, because we require
quality, not quantity and
this require slower production. We are having strict quality control at every
production step.
To having steady quality product all our equipment is
imported from Europe or Japan.
Our employee are enjoying good life. Additional to good salary, we are providing free accommodations for every employee plus 3 meals a day for ALL people.
4. Colors - 200+ available. 1000 fabric to choose from. Check our WWW , we are updating often

for 3 pcs set aprox. 4 m3
6. Weights net & gross, 350- 400 lbs (150-180 kgs) per sofa set
7. Packing - multilayer packing materials from plastic, blankets, foam, carton
and strong bags. Double cartons on corners. Some furniture crated.

8. Quantities per 40'Container: 18-21 sofa sets, 40HQ - 21-24 sets, 3-4 pcs,
total 67 QM, aprox 80 packages
9. Production-/ Delivery times,
can increase to 1000 sofa sets in 1-2 months. Delivery of 1st ordered container
14 days after placing order.
10. Payment terms,
Small retail order -50% deposit when placing orders, remaining when ready to send from Los Angeles warehouse.
Container order - 50% wire deposit when placing orders, remaining when container ready to be pack and send to the port.
11. Environmental issue. All waists are recycled and used again. Wooden
scraps is used for firing kiln,
sponge/foam
shredded and used for pillows, leather is sew again and produced pillows, To do
this we
purchased
special German made sawing machine made by Duerkopp Adler AG.

Our basic
manufacturing cost is higher than local Chinese selling prices because we are
using much mostly material. We can buy similar looking sofa at lower
price than our current cost - only how it is build??

Most customer are looking for good quality product at fair prices. We are thinking globally, our product is made by people, not be VPs with fat salaries. To cut production cost we moved our factory to China. Just facts- some Italian furniture are made in Romania or in China (Natuzzi has factory in China).
