I just wanted to let you know that order JS50024 (SL228 for Chrys W.) was delivered last week and Chrys is very happy with it. This was a very custom order, using special sizes and a customer-provided upholstery fabric, and everything worked out perfectly. Several things had to be changed and/or fixed as it was produced, so a lot of work went into making this sofa. She sent me an email complimenting us on the quality of the sofa and how happy she is with the value.

As you know, I was frustrated because it didn't get here on time for my ThanksGiving Dinner but as soon as I saw they assembled it up, all my frustration went away.... SHANGRILA done a great job.... The sofas look so beautiful & elegance in my living room..... I can't wait to show them off. Although the additional middle leg show a bit but that is fine because the sofas are absolutely gorgeous. After living with small couches for years, I did not expect it to be so big and comfy, but was pleasantly surprised that it was! The delivery company was on time, the arrangement company was courteous and prompt, but the shipping company was late and it caused me a delay. Still, I have my furniture and it looks good and is fairly comfortable which is often a gamble when ordering over the internet.

Everything arrived today around 3- 4 o clock. This is the second set of furniture I have ordered from you guys and I am very happy with the purchase. The packaging was very nice, and the quality was, as I expected, excellent. I had one small nick one an ottoman from a tear in the box, but it is minor and I am not really concerned about it. The leather is very nice, I like the firmness of the cushions. I would like a little softer, but the trade-off in my opinion is worth it for longevity of the sofa. Dear Tom and everyone involved in my sofa (SL190) :

The sectional designed like B&B's Charles arrived and is a spectacular success. The styling, seams and cushion firmness is perfect. (there is one improvement you can make on the chaise for future clients-Where the back rest ends and the cushion of the chaise spans the full 38" width there is not enough support and it sags slightly when you sit on it-we are sure we can fix it and we are only telling you so that you can improve this spectacular sofa) The sofa, all in all, has the look of the B&B that > we couldn't afford ($14,000) and is elegant in its own right-It does not look like a cheap knock-off at all and that is because so much attention was paid to the details-I really appreciate all of your hard work and help. I would definately order from you again and can only say I think the workmanship was top notch. Also, the time it took (Minus the design time that was my doing) was less than many custom or high end furniture stores, which varies from 12 to 16 weeks-After I paid the sofa was delivered in 9 weeks, three weeks earlier than promised and delivery was white glove service. MY Mies day bed is also a great success. Here again I have a suggestion to make that I believe would improve the quality of the product. The fastening system for the pillow and the mattress is 1/2" of velcro that I assume should attach to other velco(which we could not locate) or the bottom of the mattress (Which does not work very well. In the case of the pillow the straps can not be folded up to the mattress bottom as they are too short. Perhaps we are missing something? Let us know. I don't want to make too much of the above flaw as it is easily rectified by me and does not lessen my joy in the piece at all. I only make the suggestion because i can see that you are striving to be and are for the most part a top quality design furniture maker. I can see from my products that you want everything perfect and so I offer these suggestions. I could not be happier with my pieces. Hi there. I have purchased your Le Corbusier sofa set and am SO happy with it.

I just wanted to let you know that we have received our order and everything
looks great. The color is perfect and the quality is great. Somewhere on the
long journey of the couches the legs of the SL188 got broken off. If you can
send me some new ones it would be great. There is 8 in total around half of
them are broken. I would like to replace them with something other than the
plastic legs that were on the couch. Something a little stronger. If you
have a nice set of black caster for the small piece and metal legs for the
chair that would be awesome. Then we would be able to roll around the
smaller part of the chair. Let me know. Thanks to everyone at Shangrila

I received my SL171 sofa set today. The set looks great! But it did take a LONG time, 65 days to be exact. The leather feels and smells great. And the 2 free pillows were a nice surprise. One minor setback is the crooked right armrest/leg on the sofa. It not only looks slightly crooked, it has a noticeable gap underneath it. Almost looks like the sofa was resting vertically on that armrest/leg during its long journey from your manufacturing facility in China and the weight of the sofa caused the armrest to bend inwards. Afterall, feedbacks, good or bad, should be about facts and potential customers have the right to know.

Firstly, what a wonderful website. I am interested in purchasing model sl 172 in black hard wearing leather. Shipment will be to England. Having seen this web site I have today cancelled an order with a Large leather shop in the U.K who were selling an almost identical model for wait for it.......?500.00 !!!!! That is not a typing error, it really is seven thousand five hundred pounds and a 16 week wait for delivery. Out of principle I absolutely refuse to purchase from them now or in the future.
