The Barcelona Chair is a design
classic based on the original Mies van der Rohe style from the 1920's.
Upholstered in high-grade leather on a stainless steel frame.
The daybed base is made of
rosewood, a dense, hard and comparatively stable material for
furniture, which
produces a color absorption result over others. Frequently called Suen Dzee
(or
Suan Zhi in mandarin) by the southern craftsmen, its wood grain percentage is
higher than most comparables. It can be stained to a rich and dark brown luster,
enhanced even more through maturing.
